Where do you conduct sales?
AZ Family Estate Sales and Appraisals is based in Tucson, AZ. We conduct estate sales on site in the home in Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Sahuarita and Green Valley.

 

How long are estate sales? 
We conduct one day estate sales, typically Saturday 8AM to 4PM.

 

What is the process for a sale?
The sale is held as a one day event on-site in the home. All items are prepared for sale; they are cleaned, priced based on fair market value and displayed for the sale day. The event is advertised in multiple ways to reach the target audience of buyers.

 

Do you sell everything in the house?
Typically everything in the house is for sale. We work with our clients to secure items which will be sold with the house or simply are not part of the estate sale.

 

Do you handle fine art, antiques, unique collections, sterling silver and fine jewelry?
Absolutely! Our experience, knowledge and education in fine art, antiques, collections, precious metals and jewelry differentiate us. We will provide guidance for the best options for selling these types of property.

 

What is the lead time for having an estate sale? 
Typically we need several weeks notice to schedule and prepare for a sale.

 

What happens to items that do not sell? 
Items may be donated to charity. Some items may be placed on consignment for sale in other markets.

 

Do you buyout the contents of a home? 
We do not buy items to resell. This allows us to remain objective with the pricing and valuation of items to be sold.
